Duration & Attendance
The course consists of six lessons of approximately 90 minutes each which take place over a six week period on a Monday evening.
If you know in advance that you will miss a particular week (e.g. if you are on holiday) then it can be made up later,
though we are not able to repeat more than one week for an individual unless there are special circumstances. So when accepting a place on
our course please be sure you will be able to complete all six lessons. We are
only able to accept beginners who have successfully completed our course as new
members into the Club.
Course Fee
The fee for the course is
£40 which must be paid in full prior to the start of the course. Be sure you
have a confirmed place on the course before sending your payment. Please be
advised the course fee, once paid, is non-refundable.
Equipment
We provide all the
equipment needed to complete the course.
We recommend that you do not buy your own equipment until after completion of
the course as you will then be in a better position to buy what is right for
you. We can offer advice to help you get the right kit.
Clothing
You should wear comfortable, close-fitting clothing. It can be chilly in the hall so you may need to wear a
warm layer. It’s important that you don't wear clothing with baggy sleeves
because bow strings tend to catch on them and spoil your shot. Similarly long hair may need to be tied back and
jewellery, especially piercings, should be removed for safety. Please wear suitable
and safe footwear that covers your entire foot, so no open sandals or such like.
